Tasting notes
Nose
A rich, warm nose dominated by prunes, caramel and tropical fruit, with chestnut honey, a hint of hazelnut and cloves.
In the mouth
On the palate, a smooth attack, but with a certain freshness. Dominantly spicy, it recaptures all the fruitiness of the nose, along with toffee, flambéed banana and a hint of candied fig.
The finish
A long, mellow finish with a pleasant hint of spice.
The Millonario distillery is located in northern Peru, and was founded just over a century ago.
