The perfect harmony of pear and Armagnac

Biercée Poiremagnac, a contraction of the words "pear" and "armagnac*", is an exceptional liqueur created from the subtle blend of a Belgian pear liqueur, distilled in our stills, and a 30-month VS armagnac, produced at the Joÿ family estate in Panjas (Gascony - France).

This liqueur, with its rich organoleptic qualities and no artificial flavours, owes its unrivalled quality to the premium quality of its ingredients.

First and foremost, top-quality native pears. They come from the best orchards in Verlaine (between Huy and Liège), and are picked when fully ripe for maximum flavour and aroma. They are then chopped, fermented and distilled according to the rules of the art in our copper stills. The result is an authentic and exceptional local pear liqueur. This is the basis of Biercée Poiremagnac.

Next comes the VS 30-month Armagnac from Domaine de Joÿ, a family estate of independent winegrowers and producers in the heart of the Gascon countryside.
Light, elegant and fruity, this premium armagnac is distilled from white wines vinified on the estate. The estate's vines, made from Ugni-Blanc and Bacco grapes, have been planted for 25 years on the sandy-silty slopes of the Bas-Armagnac terroir. This is one of the three terroirs of the Armagnac appellation. And it is reputed to be the best in the appellation.

This terroir produces fruity, delicate and elegant eaux-de-vie, which our Master Distiller carefully tasted before choosing VS de Joÿ armagnac.

Our team chose to work with Domaine de Joÿ because they share our values of passion for their craft, tradition, independence, conviviality and high-quality artisanal production.
And it is precisely these values that are reflected in the superb, generous expressiveness of Biercée Poiremagnac.

In the glass, the fruity, warm and supple organoleptic qualities of Joÿ's VS 30 months armagnac combine exquisitely with the natural, fully fruity flavour of Biercée's Belgian pear liqueur. The long aftertaste that emerges is a marvellous culmination of our Master Distiller's craftsmanship.

Pure: the Biercée Poiremagnac liqueur is best enjoyed at room temperature or, for those who prefer freshness, straight from the fridge. Serve it in a balloon glass or an armagnac glass that fits comfortably in your hand and allows the aromas to express themselves generously. For those who like precision and concentrated flavours, the Distiller glass is also suitable.

Mixed as a long drink: 4cl to 6cl of Biercée Poiremagnac liqueur, simply layered with chilled premium ginger ale.

In cocktails: In keeping with the times, Biercée Poiremagnac is the ideal ingredient for vintage cocktails.
