Plantation Barbados 2007 is a rare jewel in the Terravera collection. Produced in just 20 casks, this limited edition offers rum lovers an exceptional experience. Distilled in 2007 in the West Indies Rum distillery's pot still and column still, this molasses rum underwent 2 years of tropical maturation in 200-litre bourbon casks, followed by 14 years of continental maturation in 350-litre Ferrand casks.
ALCOHOL: 40% ALCOHOL
Nose: Remarkably intense and spicy, with sweet notes of cinnamon and nutmeg, accompanied by toasted almonds, flambéed banana, citrus zest, honeysuckle and vanilla.
Palate: A sweet and sour balance, with notes of citrus fruit, custard, crème brûlée, coconut and pepper.
Finish: A very long finish with notes of coconut, spices, honey, aniseed, vanilla and hazelnut.
