Aging for at least eleven years brings out the woody aroma, while creating an appropriate balance between the delicacy of the fruity flavours and the robustness of Aguardiente. Conde de Cuba rum is harvested, distilled, aged and bottled in a small town of over 2,000 inhabitants in the province of Las Tunas, in Amancio Rodriguez, in the south-east of Cuba, a land favourable to the cultivation of 100% indigenous ‘medialuna’ sugar cane. The entire system is located on the plantation, including the sugar factory for obtaining the honey, the distillery, the Ron Sevilla factory and the winery. This whole process is reflected on the different labels, making this range of products special. The sugar plantation was located on the banks of the River Sevilla, one of the country's most important rivers. Seville, the famous port city in southern Spain, has had links with Cuba since colonial times.
