THE BRAND

The Scottish distillery Dalwhinnie is located in an incredible natural setting in the heart of the Highlands, in the Cairngorms National Park. Dalwhinnie is considered to be one of the highest distilleries in Scotland. Its climate is the coldest in the country, and this is an important factor in the production process. In fact, Dalwhinnie has kept its serpentine condensers, which only a dozen distilleries have done, and which is a determining factor in the taste of their whisky. The combination of the cold at Dalwhinnie and the coils gives the single malts fruity, honeyed aromas, the flavours of which are amplified by the sixty-hour fermentation process. Most of the distillery's production is used to make blends, particularly Black and White. Dalwhinnie has been chosen to represent the Highlands in the Classic Malts range.
