Douglas Laing Big Peat is a pleasantly full-bodied peated whisky. Renowned whiskies are used in this blend: Caol Ila, Bowmore, Ardbeg and Port Ellen. Nose: peat, chocolate, coffee, cedar wood, walnuts and almonds. Then hints of cinnamon and oily smoke. Palate: robust smoke, fresh grass, peanuts, spices and peat. The finish is fairly short, with more grass and smoke.
