The history of Ballantine's Scotch whisky dates back to 1827. At the age of 19, George Ballantine opened his first grocery shop in Edinburgh, where he sold a range of carefully selected Scotch whiskies.

George Ballantine was one of the first to blend and age his whiskies to create the most balanced blend possible.

A blend of the finest malt and grain Scotch whiskies, Ballantine's whiskies draw their aromatic richness and balance from the heart of Scotland's 4 regions.

The whiskies that make up Ballantine's blends take many years to age, allowing their aromas to express themselves and achieving the balanced taste that is so characteristic of Ballantine's whiskies.

Colour: pale gold. Nose: soft, elegant, honeyed aromas, slightly spicy. Palate: very balanced, with subtle flavours of milk chocolate, red apple and vanilla. Finish: refined and very fresh.

Ballantine's Cola, very popular with connoisseurs: pour a shot of Ballantine's Finest into a glass with ice cubes and add cola. Garnish with a slice of orange.
