Cherry plum is the famous fruit produced originally in “Lorraine”, a region of France. Its French name “mirabelle” comes from the latin “mirabilis” which means “beautiful to see”. It is said to have been brought back from the holywars by the duke of Anjou and Lorraine.

MONIN Cherry Plum syrup captures the sweet aroma of this little summer plum with a delicate flavour. It allows to create very nice cocktails with a subtle taste, but also to prepare smoothies with other orchard fruits or even milkshakes and frappes inspired by the traditional cherry plum pie.
