Distilled in the heart of the Andes, Pisco Porton is one of the finest examples of Peruvian expertise in the production of this traditional wine brandy.
The very high quality of Pisco Porton is based on a number of key factors: the selection of grapes, the Mosto Verde production method (grape juice with unfinished fermentation), the quantity of grapes used per bottle and the expertise of the Master Distiller: Johnny Schuler.
It is distilled in copper stills in which no water or other elements are added, with only 8 months of rest to allow the aromas to develop.
Porton Pisco is produced in a special and unique place called ‘Hacienda La Caravedo’, the oldest distillery in America and the second oldest distillery in the world still in operation. It was founded in 1684 in the town of Ica, Peru.
Porton Pisco is the world's most awarded Pisco, with over 150 medals and honours, and the number 1 exported Peruvian Pisco.
