The backbone of every Octomore series, 15.1 is the base from which the other expressions alternate and evolve.

Revealing the profound influence of the intense peat smoke from which it was born, the spirit has matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon casks and old Bourbon casks specially re-toasted for the occasion, conscientiously extracting as much character as possible from the wood. The result is a raw, uncompromising Single Malt that demonstrates Octomore's refined strength of character, balancing notes of smooth, vanilla custard and sweet, toasty oak with heady peat smoke.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Winter sunshine.

Nose: Toffee, vanilla custard and sweet malt. Palate: Mango, banana and apricot jam with vanilla custard and caramel.
