The Sasanokawa Shuzo distillery completes its range of Japanese whiskies with this Yamazakura Blended expression aged in Bourbon casks. This elegant, rich and complex Japanese whisky extends the discovery of spirits produced in the Land of the Rising Sun with new flavours.
Yamazakura takes its name from two Japanese symbols: ‘Yama’ meaning ‘mountain’, and ‘Sakura’ referring to cherry trees, symbols of ephemeral beauty.
Colour : golden.
Nose : soft and delicate, elderflower, malt, caramel, iodine.
Palate : light and oily, pear, cereals, vanilla and citrus fruit.
Finish : iodine, vanilla and cereals.
Comments : Enjoy neat or in a cocktail at room temperature. Pairs perfectly with parma ham.
