Pedro is a limited edition created to celebrate the

11th anniversary of Het Anker Brewery & Distillery's first whisky release.

Het Anker Brewery & Distillery. This edition has been

matured in a mixture of Bourbon and Anker casks

and Anker casks, followed by almost 2 years in American oak Vermouth casks.

The latter were previously used to mature Spanish Vermouth, made from Ximenéz grapes.

According to legend, Peter Siemens (known in Spanish as Pedro Ximinéz),

a soldier under Emperor Charles V, brought these grapes from the Rhine Valley in Germany to Spain.

This floral whisky offers a slightly sweet flavour

with a fruity finish.
