What does 'Aurora' mean?


Aurora is a limited edition to mark the 10th anniversary of the De Molenberg distillery.


The world belongs to those who get up early, and sauternes producers know this well. By harvesting their grapes in autumn, the morning dew contributes to the grape's typically sweet flavour. This whisky was first aged in Bourbon casks and Het Anker casks, then finished for 18 months in Sauternes casks. These release notes of honey and apple as they mature. This whisky is the perfect accompaniment to a sweet dessert.


The unique design of the case is the culmination of the 10 year old 'Stokerij De Molenberg Anniversary Edition'. We have brought together all the colours used on our cases over the last few years to achieve this surprising result.
